Kensie and Jon are getting married today! WHOOT! These are probably two of the most thoughtful and caring people I know. When I called Kensie and her mom yesterday, one of the things they kept saying was how they just wanted me to be able to create. That means the absolute world to me! When you don’t put a creative person in a box, you’ll always get a lot more emotion and creativity. If today is anything like our engagement session, there will be lots of laughter and fun! Since most their family and friends were either from Texas or northern Missouri, they randomly picked Springfield, MO as a middle ground for their wedding. They rented a big Airbnb and invited all their close family and friends to share in a weekend of celebrating their relationship. I can tell you first hand that there's nothing quite like an intimate wedding surrounded by all the people who have impacted your journey.
Who knew a couple summers at camp in Florida, Blake's surprise appearance in Kaylee's kitchen to ask her out on a date, and a crazy road trip to Colorado would make the two fall in love?
Haley and Jeremy met at Missouri State University in their college ministry. Later finding out that they actually went to church together, they became really great friends! In this case, just friends wasn't going to cut it. ;) Before you know it, the two started dating and HERE WE ARE! A stunning wedding at the Beck Event Space in Harrisonville, MO with these two madly in love.
Karissa and Grant got married at Second Baptist Church, which is right where I grew up with her! (Fun fact: I'm photographing her brother's wedding this year as well! How cool?!) This couple truly loves the Lord and their desire for their friends and family to experience Him on their wedding day was evident from beginning to end. They are most excited about following the Lord together, and have a stronger bond to Him together than apart. They wanted to fully center their wedding around worshipping the Lord as opposed to the day being about themselves.
Cheyenne and Brent's beautiful barn wedding at Where the Creeks Meet in Montreal, Missouri blended elegance with their own personal style. From her amazing gown to the guys' rad socks, they definitely nailed the details. I honestly can't properly put words together to say how incredible Jo and Bryce are. The way the love each other and center their lives around the Lord completely inspires me and warms my heart.

It's safe to say I have a pretty awesome family, and it only got better when little Theo joined the Hawkins club!
