The Process
Marrying your best friend is the most beautiful thing in the world. The flowers, cake, dresses, family, the emotions and love, but getting there can sometimes be a bit overwhelming. I'm here to help you walk through the process and make it as stress-free as possible! I'm always willing to help with things like what to wear for engagement pictures, locations, any vendors you have questions about, wedding day schedule, etc. I love connecting with my couples and walking through this beautiful journey with you! Inquire
Send me a message and we will set up a meeting at my office (334 E. Commercial St. #206) I even have coffee and a candy ;) If you're having an out of state wedding or don't live in 417, we can email back and forth or Skype. We'll talk about all your plans for your wedding day, find a package that fits your needs, and go over the online invoicing and contract system. There's no need for sending back and forth paper documents, sign and access all documents online. You can even make payments online. I'll also show you what an online gallery looks like, how to send and download pictures, and order prints online.
Engagement Pictures
It takes up to 3 weeks to get engagement pictures back. So, keep that in mind when setting up your engagement session. I typically suggest a maximum of two outfits, one being a laid back pant/shorts option, and one being a flowy dress. Obviously, that's just my suggestion! Make sure to get your engagement ring shined and your nails done since we will be focussing a lot on those two things!
Invitations & Save the Dates
I typically suggest sending your save the date 5 months and formal invitations 2-3 months before your wedding. I can fully customize and print invitations for you. Click here for more information.
Wedding Day Schedule
Creating a wedding day schedule is one of the most stressful and confusing parts of planning a wedding. Unless your a wedding photographer, it can be hard deciding what time to plan your ceremony for sunset pictures, how long family pictures will take, if you need to do a first look, what time to have the flowers and cake delivered, etc. That's why I'm here to help! We'll set up a meeting 1 month before your wedding day to fully customize your wedding schedule. I'll type it up and add it to your online portal so you can access it at any time. I'm always here to help and answer questions, so never hesitate to text or email me!
Wedding Day
We'll go over everything you need to know for the wedding day at your final meeting. I'll even put tips and tricks in your schedule. The most time saving factors for me is to have the getting ready rooms completely free of clutter, have all your details laid out and and ready to photograph, make sure to get the rings shinned, and bring an invitation to be photographed. It can take me up to an hour to collect all the details and clean up the getting ready rooms. If you can have those ready, it allows more time for pictures.
After Wedding
I'll post a preview or two to Instagram and Facebook the day after your wedding. It's always fun letting your friends and family see what we did all day! I'll post a condensed blog of your wedding day on my website 1-2 weeks after your wedding to give you a little taste of your wedding gallery. Make sure to fill out the wedding day questionnaire in your portal so I can add vendor details to your blog post. Your full gallery will be emailed to you a max of 8 weeks after your wedding day. You can share the gallery with friends and family so they can view and download all the pictures too. I'll also mail out your custom flash drive. If your package has a wedding album, I'll fully design it and send you a preview to approve 4 weeks after getting your gallery back. From there, it takes 1-3 weeks to get your album in before you can pick it up at the studio. If you're interested in custom thank you cards, you can find information here.
