JESSIE + MATT | ANAHATA SPRINGS ELOPEMENT | BOIS D'ARC, MO

Jessie and Matt’s elopement at Anahata Springs (a new venue opening in 2019!) near Springfield, MO, was of intimate moments, beautiful flowers, and details that will probably have your eyes watering by the end of this blog.

I’ve always dreamed of giving away a wedding with a bunch of vendor friends. So when my friend Stevie told me she was starting a new business focused on design, styling and coordinating weddings and elopements (wildlycollective.com) and that she wanted to do an elopement giveaway, I quickly volunteered myself to help! Check that off my bucket list! Her and Celia (unionswithcelia.com) started the process of finding a couple that not only was in love and excited to get married, but one that fully trusted the vendor teams vision for the day. I was in tears by the end of Jessie and Matt’s application. And after grabbing drinks with them before their wedding day, I knew that their wedding day would be really special.

Jessie and Matt showed up on their wedding day not knowing anything except that they were getting married. Jessie hadn’t even seen her wedding ring until the moment Matt put it on her finger during the ceremony. After Jessie arrived at the venue, she ran around the property in excitement, hugging all the vendors. Talk about the sweetest person ever! She and Matt spend the afternoon getting ready with their friends and taking moments to soak in what was getting ready to happen. After their ceremony, they jumped in a canoe and rowed off into marriage. Cheesy?? Yeah, but so adorable! Matt brought their camper van, so they drove it down to the river to take pictures. The river, as well as their van, have huge significance in their relationship, so I wanted to try to incorporate both! After pictures, they had their first dance, alone, on the river bank and then enjoyed a candlelit dinner on the bridge.

Jessie + Matt, thank you for trusting us all with the most important day of your lives. For being so encouraging and open. And even though you technically didn’t get to pick your photographer, thank you for allowing me to tell your story.

xoxo,

Kyndal
