AMANDA + ADAM | THE BARN AT STONE VALLEY PLANTATION | PLEASANT HOPE, MISSOURI WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHER

Amanda and Adam told me they wanted a small backyard wedding with no traditions or schedule, surrounded by their close friends and family. And I said heck to the freaking YES! It’s easy to loose sight of the real meaning of weddings when there’s so much going. That’s probably why I love elopements and intimate weddings so much! The morning of the wedding, I walked into Amanda’s getting ready room and she was spending time with her sister and mom. It was one of the most peaceful and intimate mornings. And Adam was hanging out with his brother and best friend. After the ceremony their family brought their fur babies Sophie and Tyson for some pictures. Seriously, cutest thing ever!! If you have the option to have wedding photos taken with your babies, don’t think twice! We then headed to their reception in their aunt’s backyard where they hung out, ate food, and had a bonfire.

Everyone has a story. So here’s a little piece of Amanda and Adams. "We met in high school and were seniors when we started dating. Our first date was at the fair and he gave me a bracelet at the top of the ferris wheel ( which I still have). After that night we never looked back. We spent all our time together and became best friends.  As soon as we graduated we moved in together. We just celebrated our 9 year anniversary and are more in love than ever. Our life together is beautiful and we can't wait for many more years to come!”

Amanda and Adam,

I’m thankful for you both so much! You’ve allowed me to become your friend, not just your photog, and my life wouldn’t be the same without you both! Thanks for letting me hang and drink all your moscato and cake. And for getting to be a part of your family for the day. I can’t wait to see you soon!

xoxo,

Kyndal
