HALLIE + ISAAC | SUNFLOWERS AND LAUGHTER | THE VENUE AT STOCKTON LAKE

Blog-40.jpg

It’s not every day that I get to photograph a couple that I’ve known for years. I remember going to The Vine at MSU when Hallie and Isaac first started dating. We were all rooting for them! ;) And through lots of dances, small groups, long distance, and travel, I was so excited to see them engaged! Their wedding day was full of sunflowers, friends, and lots of laughter! When I get a fun and giggly couple, you know I’m going to take full advantage of that in pictures! So, enjoy all their portraits, you’re bound to smile too.

“We met as freshman at Missouri State through the Vine. Our second year, we both began to lead a small group at the same house, and that is where we started to become better friends. Near the end of our third year of college, our small group started to hang out together more often. During these hang outs is where I believe we became close. We would look for each other to be there, and slowly we both started to realize we liked each other. One weekend during the summer, Hallie was going to be doing some field research down at Roaring River. She had told our small group that if anyone wanted to come visit, they could come down. I decided to text Hallie and ask if I could come down. After spending part of that day together, we have never really looked back.”

“Start early and don't be afraid to ask for help. Keep your focus on the fact you will be married at the end of the day, even if things don't go exactly as planned.” - Isaac
